Failure to drive with due care — Mitchell L. Blankenship, 44, of Crossville, Ala.; fined $125.

Possession of drug paraphernalia — Mario Patino, 18, of Blue Earth; fined $135.

Dwayne E. Money, 24, of Blue Earth was convicted of fourth-degree assault-physically assaults peace officer; fined $835, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 344 days for two years, credit for time served 21 days, two years supervised probation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete treatment including aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, mental health evaluation, follow recommendations of evaluation, no assault, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if you’ve been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if you change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign all releases of information, give DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Also convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 344 days for two years, credit for time served 21 days, two years supervised probation Additional charge of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/boisterous/ noisy/obscene was dismissed.

Joseph A. Wieser, 19, of Bricelyn was convicted of disorderly conduct-brawling or fighting; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for six months, credit for time served two days, six months unsupervised probation.

Nicholas A. Ostrander, 37, of Wells was convicted of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $585, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 364 days for two years, credit for time served one day, two years unsupervised probation, no DAC, DAR or DAS violations, no same or similar.

Mark J. Kaufman, 68, of Bricelyn was convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/noisy/obscene; fined $100. Additional felony charge of threats of violence was dismissed.

Paul M. Giese, 63, of Wells was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, no alcohol violations, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, chemical dependency evaluation/treatment, complete chemical use assessment with probation agent and follow recommendations. Additional charge of fourth-degree driving while impaired was dismissed.
