Driver using headphones (both ears) — Ethan E. Thate, 28, of Dunnell; fined $125.

Passing violation-overtaking vehicle fails to pass to left/safely clear — Illa M. Byers, 84, of Fairmont; fined $135.

Failure to obey traffic control device — Elizabeth J. Johnson, 61, of Welcome; fined $135.

Window tint violation-less than 50 percent light transmittance — Markie J. Sorenson, 23, of Albert Lea; fined $135.

Vehicle window restrictions-tint too dark — Justin P. Mulvihill, 36, of Granada; fined $135.

Abel C. Torres, 42, of Fairmont was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100.

Garret D. Adams, 24, of Trimont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $760, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 361 days for two years, credit for time served four days, two years supervised probation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, work toward obtaining a drivers license, maintain employment, remain law-abiding, follow all conditions set forth in the probation agreement, follow all state and federal criminal laws, report to agent as directed, advise agent prior to changing employment and/or residence, cooperate and be truthful with agent in all matters, notify agent if arrested and/or issued a summons, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, don’t ship/transport/possess/receive firearms or ammunition if prohibited by law. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.

Emily J. Walters, 24, of Fairmont was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.

Jose A. Argueta Gusman, 20, of Windom was convicted of no Minnesota drivers license (after 60 days residency/30 days CDL); fined $185, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days. Additional charge of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle was dismissed.
