Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Lindy S. Graves, 47, of Ipswich, S.D.; Dennis L. Johnson, 80, of Northwood, Iowa; each fined $110.

Fishing violation-take fish in closed season — Tommy L. Harroun, 33, of Vernon Center; fined $160.

Driving after suspension — Gavin D. Johnson, 19, of Blue Earth; fined $285.

Andrew R. Gray, 43, of Atwood, Ill. was convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $110. Also convicted of possession of marijuana in motor vehicle; fined $50. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $50.

DISTRICT COURT

Tyler R. Byers, 27, of Fairmont was convicted of disorderly conduct-brawling or fighting; fined $360, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of fifth-degree assault was dismissed.

Sylvia I. Poetter, 82, of Blue Earth had a charge of junk violation-other than weeds and grass continued for dismissal; six months probation to the court, maintain property as is or finish cleaning up, no same or similar. Also had a separate charge of junk violation-other than weeds and grass continued for dismissal; six months probation to the court, maintain property, no same or similar.

Angie A. Redenius, 47, of Fairmont was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $260, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 70 days for one year, one year supervised probation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, mental health evaluation regarding shoplifting, follow recommendations of evaluation, pay restitution, follow all state and federal criminal laws, report to agent as directed, advise agent prior to changing employment and/or residence, cooperate and be truthful with agent in all matters, notify agent if arrested and/or issued a summons, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, reply promptly to any communication from agent, abide by agent’s instructions, don’t ship/transport/possess/ receive firearms or ammunition.
