FAIRMONT – Theresa Jan Edman and John Cummins Sens were married Aug. 13, 2016, at Grace United Methodist Church in Des Moines, Iowa. Pastor Dave Swinton officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Paul and Mary Edman of Fairmont, and John and Rita Sens of New Folden.

Matron of honor was Renae Rimmer, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Courtney Swift, friend of the bride, Marie Timmerman, cousin of the bride, and Laura Desimone, sister of the groom.

Flower girls were Ingrid Edman, Gwen Edman, Solveigh Edman, Anne Moyer-Sens, and Mariana Ohmann, nieces of the couple.

Best man was Charles DeBeck, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Blomberg and Andy Duffelmeyer, friends of the groom, and Mike Edman, brother of the bride.

Guests were ushered by Greg Timmerman, cousin of the bride, and Troy Mattson, brother of the groom.

Ceremony music was provided by the Metro Bass Quintet.

A reception with music by the CJC Big Band was held at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Center in Des Moines.

The couple live in Des Moines.
