First Congregational plans Friday cookie walk

First Congregational United Church of Christ will hold a Christmas cookie walk from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at 319 Downtown Plaza, Fairmont. Cookies are $12 a pound. Let them do the baking for you. Come and stock up on all of your favorite Christmas cookies.

Armstrong Brass holiday concerts

The Armstrong Brass group will present a holiday concert beginning 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Triumph Hall in Trimont. They will also present their holiday concert at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Fairmont Library. This program is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
