Lunch & Learn coming Wednesday to Trimont
There is nothing worse than being the victim of a scam. You feel foolish that you didn’t recognize it and you hope that no one finds out about it. The next CREST Lunch & Learn program will take place 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at First Lutheran Church, 61 Apple St. East in Trimont. This month’s topic will be a presentation on how to avoid scams. The guest speaker again will be Celia Simpson, a representative from American Connection Corps. A soup and sandwich meal with an apple dessert will be served following the program. This activity is open to anyone in Martin County, and a free-will donation is always welcome.
