Church on the Lawn in East Chain

“Church on the Lawn” service will be held beginning 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 26, at East Chain Evangelical Free Church, located three miles east of the village of East Chain. The speaker will be Pastor Ben Fox. The service includes live band worship, bible teaching and wonderful kids program. Prior to the service, donuts and coffee will be served at 10 a.m. Also, join them for lunch with pork chop-on-a-stick and pork patties from the MC Pork Producers. The public is welcome.

Sportsman Club sets shooting event

East Chain Sportsman’s Club will hold a trap shoot event beginning noon Sunday, June 26, at the club located a half-mile north of East Chain. They will be shooting practice rounds, then 16-yard and 25-yard Oakley’s and Boondocks. The grill will be on all day. For more information, contact Moby at (507) 236-4189. Everyone is welcome.

Library offers patriotic craft for adults

Join library staff to make a patriotic wreath craft beginning 2 p.m. Monday, June 27, at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. This program is for adults and is open to the public. All supplies are provided and no registration is required. For questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
