Service Club to hold meeting today

Fairmont Service Club will meet noon Tuesday at the Best Western in Fairmont. The program this week will feature Sonja Fortune, Executive Director at Red Rock Center for the Arts. Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Dr. Matt Weber, a new healthcare provider at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. The public is invited to attend.

Bored Game Night planned Thursday

The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs are hosting an evening out to eliminate the boredom of a cold January night on Thursday at the Winnebago Municipal Center, 140 S. Main St. in Winnebago. Doors are open to the public starting at 5:30 p.m. Cribbage has been a long-time area favorite and will be the featured game. They will teach you how to play or you can bring another favorite board game, dice, cards, or just talk. A light meal of pulled pork sandwich or hot dog, chips and snacks will be provided.
