United Methodist Church to sponsor Mitten Tree

Fairmont United Methodist Church located at 119 E. 2nd Street in Fairmont is sponsoring a Mitten Tree. Bring your donations of new or handmade hats, mittens, gloves and scarves to the church and hang them on the Mitten Tree, located outside the front entry doors under the canopy at the church. New and gently-used children’s jackets will also be accepted. Items on the Mitten Tree are available to anyone in our community who is in need. If you or someone in your family need any of these items, please come to the church and choose the item(s) you need. The Mitten Tree will be available 9-11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from Dec. 1 to Dec. 23. Consider giving the gift of warmth this holiday season.
