Food distribution Tuesday in Fairmont

Heavens Table Food Shelf in coordination with Second Harvest Heartland will be providing a free emergency food distribution to the residents of Martin County. This is an effort again by the USDA to connect farm fresh product with families that have a need. The distribution will be held 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Martin County Fairgrounds while supplies last. Please enter the grounds at the south entrance by the arena (not the racetrack), exit on the north side of the arena. You will receive a box containing produce, dairy and protein products plus a gallon of milk. We would prefer a limit of 2 families per car, with a representative of each family in the car. We will collect data of the ages of family members only. This distribution is open to the public and is free to all who attend.
