Early Risers to meet Wednesday

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. Their guest will be Casey Kester of the Minnesota State Highway Patrol, who will provide updates on any current and new driving laws in Minnesota. The public is invited to attend.

Red Cross blood drive set for Monday

American Red Cross blood drive will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Fairmont Crossfit, 1007 E. 10th St., Fairmont. The Red Cross is urging healthy, eligible individuals to give blood to help prevent blood shortages that could result from lower donor participation. Donors of all blood types are needed. Red Cross officials say extra sanitary precautions are used and it is safe to give. Masks are a good idea as well.
