Public reading in the park

Readers are needed to help present the public reading of Leo Tolstoy’s, “The Death of Ivan Ilyich.” This event will be held July 16 in the bandshell at Sylvania Park in Fairmont. College News

The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the 2020 spring semester at Rochester Community and Technical College in Rochester: Blue Earth — Braydon Wayner; Butterfield — Lucas Fredin; Elmore — Emily Heenan; Fairmont — Isabelle Lenort, Cory Lyons; Sherburn — Parker Anderson; Truman — Paxton Gravlin.

Paige Pettit, formerly of Fairmont, graduated and was awarded a bachelor’s degree in math following the 2020 spring semester at St. Catherine University in St. Paul.
