Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Guy Beemer, vice president of Beemer Companies, who will provide an update and discussions about any projects that Beemer Companies is currently working on. The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist slates Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church located at 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of creamed chicken and biscuits, lettuce salad, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.

Red Rock to host Thursday arts event

Red Rock Center for the Arts will host their annual arts and crafting day from 1-4 p.m. Thursday at their building located at 222 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont. Bring unfinished projects to work on while enjoying fellowship with other creative people. Bring a snack to pass if you wish to. There will be plenty of workspace available.

Aktion Club Theatre to hold Thursday meeting

Aktion Club Theatre, part of Kiwanis International, will meet 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Grace Lutheran Church located at 300 S. Grant St. in Fairmont. The public is invited to join any of the group’s theatrical practices. Those needing a ride or who have questions about the group may call Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017 or the Arc office at (507) 235-8580.
