Regional Worship Center plans breakfast

Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a pancakes, eggs and coffee breakfast from 7-9 a.m. Monday at its facility at 2 Crossroads Dr. in Sherburn. Cost is a donation. Everyone is invited.

Woodcarving group to meet

CER Woodcarving group will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday in the art room at Fairmont Elementary School. Park on the south side of the building and use the CER office door. There is no charge. New and experienced carvers are welcome.

CER adult activities held Tuesdays

Fairmont Community Education and Recreation reminds everyone that adult open gym volleyball/pickle ball will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays in the Little Cardinal (annex) gym at Fairmont Elementary School. There is a $2.50 admission charge at the door. For more information, call the CER office at (507) 235-3141.

Library to host Toddler Tinker Lab

A Toddler Tinker Lab will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. The lab is designed to allow toddlers to explore, grow and create with a variety of activities each month. No registration is required. This event is free and open to the public. Truman class of 1959 meets Wednesday

Truman High School class of 1959 will meet to celebrate its 60th graduation anniversary 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the club house at Rose Lake Golf Course, rural Fairmont.

First Congregational plans free meal

First Congregational United Church of Christ will host a free community meal 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 319 Downtown Plaza, Fairmont. The meal served by the facilities committee of the church will consist of grilled pork loin, au gratin potatoes, green beans and ice cream sundaes. All are welcome.
