Ruby’s Pantry plans food distribution

Ruby’s Pop-Up Pantry, a community food outreach program, will hold a food distribution Monday at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn. Registration begins at 5 p.m., with food distribution from 6-7:30 p.m. There are no income or residency guidelines. Ruby’s Pantry is funded by the $20 cash donation per participant for operational costs. Participants should bring two large boxes, totes or laundry baskets for the food. Historical Society to offer program

A PowerPoint program entitled “Towns of Martin County” will be shown 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pioneer Museum in Fairmont. There is no charge. The public is invited to attend.

IHD to hold upcoming meeting

Interlaken Heritage Days board of directors will meet 6 p.m. Sept. 4 in the basement meeting room at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St., in Fairmont. Elections will be held for chair, vice-chair, secretary/treasurer as well as for four board of director positions. Anyone interested in helping organize next year’s festival may attend. No previous board experience required.
