Early Risers to meet Wednesday

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured this week will be playwright and director Wilbur Neushwander-Frink, who will speak about her activities with the Kiwanis-sponsored Aktion Club members. The public is invited to attend.

Aktion Club Theatre sets Thursday meeting

Aktion Club Theatre, part of Kiwanis International, will meet 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. The public is invited to attend any of the group’s theatrical practices. Those needing a ride or who have questions about the group may call Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017 or the Arc office at (507) 235-8580.

Martin Luther plans fundraising event

A “Suds and Spirits” sampling event will be 7:30 p.m. Friday at The Depot in Hands Park. Multiple home brewers of beers and wines will have their specialties available. Appetizers will be served. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased by calling the high school office at (507) 436-5249. Proceeds will benefit Martin Luther High School in Northrop. The public is invited.
