Class of 1962 to meet

Fairmont High School class of 1962 will meet 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Pizza Ranch, Fairmont. All classmates are encouraged to come and fellowship.

St. John Vianney plans Sunday meal

A free hot meal hosted by St. John Vianney Catholic Church will be held 6 p.m. Sunday in the hospitality area at the church, 901 S. Prairie Ave., Fairmont. The church serves a free meal the fourth Sunday of every month. Everyone is welcome.

Karina Ascencio of St. James was named to the High Academic Achievement List at Rochester Community and Technical College.

Kayley Shoen of Truman was awarded a bachelor’s degree in biology during a commencement ceremony held May 26 at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.
