Exchange Club to meet today

Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at the Martin County Historical Society, Fairmont. This week will feature a visit and tour of Pioneer Museum with a group from Early Risers Kiwanis. Gazebo concerts begin in Blue Earth

A series of free lunchtime concerts titled “Tunes at Noon in June (at the Gazebo)” will return today at Gazebo Park at the corner of Sixth and Main Street in downtown Blue Earth. The concerts will begin at 12:05 p.m. each Tuesday in June. The concerts will feature local musicians. The public is invited.

Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured this week will be Aaron Speltz, new store manager at Fairmont Hy-Vee, who will share his background in education, experiences and family. The public is invited to attend.

‘Wiggles and Words’ slated at library

Children, ages newborn to 2 years old and an adult, are invited to “Wiggles and Words” at 9:30 a.m. Thursdays June 13 through July 25 (no session July 4) at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Join library staff for stories and playtime. There is no cost to attend and this event is open to the public. For more information, call the library at (507) 238-4207.

Aktion Club Theatre sets Thursday meeting

Aktion Club Theatre, part of Kiwanis International, will meet 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. The public is invited to attend any of the group’s theatrical practices.
