Red Rock plans Tuesday lunch event

Lunch with the Arts program featuring free musical entertainment by Patrick McGowan of Owatonna will be held noon Tuesday at Red Rock Center for the Arts, 222 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont. Bring a sack lunch if desired. Coffee and bars will be provided. The public is invited.

Conservation Club sets Tuesday meeting

Martin County Conservation Club Inc. will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday at the club shelter house on North Silver Lake. To reach the park, drive seven miles south of Fairmont on Highway 15, then take a right on County Road 8 for 1 1/4 miles just past Hands Park. All members and the public are welcome to attend.

Katherine Cory of Wells was awarded a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology with magna cum laude honors during a commencement ceremony held April 28 at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
