Knights sponsor Sunday fundraiser

Knights of Columbus will sponsor a breakfast fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 920 E. 10th St., Fairmont. The cost is a donation. Proceeds will go to Fairmont Area Let’s Go Fishing. Everyone is invited.

Bridal shower Sunday at Grace Lutheran

An open house bridal shower for Haley Ammann, bride-to-be of Levi Ekstrom, will be 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 S. Grant St., Fairmont. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Blood drive set for Monday in Elmore

Class of 1960 to meet

Fairmont High School class of 1960, spouses and friends will meet for lunch 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pizza Ranch, Fairmont.

CER announces upcoming activity

Community Education and Recreation will hold a community activity next week. There will be a calligraphy class for those in 10th grade through adult from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday in room 1017 (Budd Room) at Fairmont Elementary School, 714 Victoria St., Fairmont. Enter through door 15A. Mark Nass will be the instructor. This is an opportunity to learn Old English and chancery cursive writing.
