Craft/vendor show set for Saturday

The 2019 Spring Craft & Vendor Show will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fairmont. More than 35 crafters and vendors will attend the event. Food will be available. The public is invited.

Prairie Star Quilters to meet Monday

Prairie Star Quilt Guild will meet Monday at the Fairmont Evangelical Covenant Church, 901 Woodland Ave., in Fairmont. The guild board will meet 12:30 p.m., with the regular membership meeting beginning 1:30 p.m. There will be a program by Karen Lester, who will talk about different kinds of threads, followed by show-and-share. Library to host ‘Sweet Treats and Reads’

Children in grades 3-6 are invited to join library staff for “Sweet Treats and Reads” at 4 p.m. Monday at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. They will have treats, book-related activities and talk about new books. The event is free and no registration is required. For more information, call the library at (507) 238-4207.

Cemetery association to meet Monday

Center Creek Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Granada Council House in Granada. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
