Exchange Club to meet today
Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Roni Dauer of Fairmont Community Education and Recreation. The public is welcome to join club members for programs. For more information, call president Fred Carlson at (507) 235-5571.
Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured this week will be Jerry Brooks, a teacher for Fairmont Area Schools, who will talk about his new course, Principles of Flight, and describe the process of pursuing professional development activities that would contribute to student achievement. The public is invited to attend.
United Methodist slates Wednesday supper
Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of tomato soup, chicken wild rice soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, homemade desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.
Regional Worship Center plans meal
A community spaghetti supper will be served 5-6:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Regional Worship Center, Sherburn Assembly of God, 2 Crossroads Dr., in Sherburn. Donations accepted. Everyone is welcome.

Fairmont High School class of 1953 will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont.
Trimont church schedules sales event
Trimont Methodist Church will hold its annual rummage and bake sale 4-7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 111 Apple St. East, in Trimont. A bag sale will be held noon to 1 p.m. Saturday. A light lunch will be served Friday, and rolls and coffee will be available Saturday. Everyone is invited.
