Class of 1961 to meet

Fairmont High School class of 1961, spouses and friends will for meet lunch 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pizza Ranch, Fairmont.

Veterans memorial group to meet

The monthly meeting for the Martin County Veterans Memorial will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at 95 Downtown Plaza, Fairmont. All Martin County veterans, families and the public are encouraged to attend.

Martin Luther to host spring rummage sale

The spring rummage and bake sale will be held this week at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. The hours are 4-8 p.m. Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. They will have a bag sale on Saturday. Donations of spring and summer clothing, household goods and miscellaneous will be accepted now until noon Wednesday at the school. Any volunteer help for setup or to staff the sale would be appreciated. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Lutheran women’s event slated for Saturday

Blue Earth River Conference Women of the ELCA spring event will be Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 235 E. Seventh St., in Blue Earth. Registration, coffee and fellowship will begin at 8 a.m. The program will run from 9-11:30 a.m., with no noon lunch served. The facilities are fully handicap-accessible. Registration is $7. The Five Sisters Project, Interfaith Caregivers and Global Health Mission will be featured for the program. There will be displays and exhibits, special music and other presentations. All local women are invited.
