Legion Auxiliary sets meeting tonight

Fairmont American Legion Auxiliary Unit 36 will meet 7 p.m. tonight at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont. All members and anyone interested in the auxiliary are encouraged to attend.

Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Jason Mau, bail bondsman for Griffin Bail Bonds in Fairmont. The public is invited to attend.

City of Lakes Garden Club to meet

City of Lakes Garden Club of Fairmont will hold its next meeting 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. There will be a business meeting followed by a presentation on “Vegetables,” which is the theme for 2019. The purpose of the organization is to encourage all forms of horticulture in the home and community. If you’re interested in becoming a member or would like more information about the Garden Club, please call Myrtle Heifner at (507) 235-8535. New members are always welcome.

United Methodist slates Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will have a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at their church, 119 E. 2nd St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of fish fillets, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.
