Martin Luther reschedules events

Because of inclement weather, two events at Martin Luther High School have been rescheduled. First, a free interactive learning day featuring the history of pirates will be presented Monday at the high school in Northrop. A presentation for students in grades 5-8 will be held 9-11:15 a.m., and for students in grades 9-12 from noon to 2:15 p.m. Next, the 2019 Chili Challenge will now be held 4:30-6:30 p.m. Feb. 18 during the boys basketball game at the high school in Northrop. Great Books cancels Monday meeting

Because of the weather, Great Books is canceling its Monday meeting. The group will next meet Feb. 25.

Red Cross blood drive planned next week

A Red Cross blood drive will be held 12:30-6:30 p.m. Monday at Hope United Methodist Church, 12080 380th Ave., Blue Earth. The Red Cross urges all eligible donors, especially platelet donors and blood donors with type O blood, to make an appointment to help restock the shelves for hospital patients. Arc group to meet Monday evening

Arc Family and Friends will meet 6 p.m. Monday in the George Room at the Fairmont Holiday Inn. For more information, call the Arc office at (507) 235-8580.

Childcare association sets meeting

Martin County Licensed Childcare Association will meet 6:30 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The speaker will be Cami Moore from Human Services. Red Rock to hold Tuesday lunch event

A noon lunch musical event featuring Bruce Boldt of Windom and Al and Nancy Jensen of Heron Lake will be held Tuesday at Red Rock Center for the Arts, Fairmont. Guests are invited to bring a sack lunch, if desired. Coffee and refreshments will be served. The event is free and the public is welcome.

Conservation Club sets Tuesday meeting

Martin County Conservation Club will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower level at Tami’s on the Ave., 2710 Albion Ave. in Fairmont. All members and the public are encouraged to attend.
