Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature information about the Hope Lodge facility for patients in Rochester. The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist slates Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of A&W Swiss burgers, baked beans, chips, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, jello, donated desserts and beverage. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.

Martin Luther to hold Saturday art class

An acrylic pour painting class will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. The cost is $30 per person and includes materials. To register, call (507) 436-5249. Please leave your name and phone number and specify if you want to paint an 8-by-10 canvas, set of four ceramic tiles or a record.

Jake Dane Faber of Sherburn received a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness during the 2018 fall commencement ceremony at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Faber also was named to the dean’s list for the 2018 fall semester.
