First Congregational to host free meal

First Congregational United Church of Christ will sponsor a free community meal 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church located at 319 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. The meal, served by the Mission Board of the church, will include chicken Alfredo, green beans, biscuits, cranberry supreme, birthday cupcakes and beverages. Celebrating anyone with a December birthday. Everyone is welcome.

Library to host Teen Vision Board event

Teens and tweens, ages 10-18, are invited to come and make a vision board for 2019 at a free event that will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St., Fairmont. All supplies will be provided, but bring your own photos, quotes and creativity. No registration is required. With questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
