Myeloma group announces change
Because of the Christmas holiday, the Fairmont MN Area Multiple Myeloma Support Group will meet 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 29 in the main classroom at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. The meeting was originally planned for Dec. 22. This will be a combination of a holiday and informational meeting. A light lunch will be provided. Soup’s on next weekend in Fairmont
A new opportunity for a hot bowl of soup is available this winter to those needing a cup of warmth, spiritual uplift and fellowship. The Shepherd’s In, a new nonprofit, will serve a free soup meal from 5-7 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 29, Jan. 19 and Feb. 9, at the parsonage in front of the Martin County Historical Society, 304 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont. There is no charge for the meal. The Shepherd’s In is accepting donations.
