Sub-district ‘C’ baseball slate realigned
TRUMAN — The first two games of the Minnesota American Legion Division II, Sub-District ‘C’ baseball tournament were rained out Friday night.
The sub-district organizers realigned the tournament brackets, with four games being scheduled for both today and Sunday.
St. James opens sub-district action at noon today against St. Clair, while Winnebago/Blue Earth takes on Minnesota Lake at 2:30 p.m. today.
Truman faces the winner between St. James and St. Clair at 5 p.m. today, while Wells takes on the winner between WBE and Minnesota Lake in a 7:30 p.m. scheduled game.
Elimination games kick off Sunday’s action at noon and 2:30 p.m. in Truman, followed by the final game between undefeated tourney teams at 5 p.m. An elimination game caps weekend action at 7:30 p.m. in Truman.
The final consolation-bracket game takes place at 5:30 p.m. Monday in Truman, followed by the winner of that contest facing the lone unbeaten team at 8 p.m. for the championship.
