WASECA — The Blue Earth Area Bucs boys golf lineup captured the outright Big South Conference championship on Monday, while the Fairmont Cardinals girls team earned the BSC’s East Division crown by claiming overall runner-up accolades to the Marshall Tigers.

Manning Lane carded back-to-back nine-hole sides of 37 to net a 3-over par 74 to pocket runner-up individual medalist honors in guiding Blue Earth Area to a first-place total of 312 — 16 strokes better than runner-up Jackson County Central at Lakeside Golf Course.
