Shooting trio nears perfection at meet

FAIRMONT — Tucker Bahr, Jacob Bocock and Sawyer Brau each topped Fairmont Area’s reserve scoring during Minnesota State High School League clay target shooting on Wednesday in Fairmont.

Bahr, Bocock and Brau each connected on 49 of 50 targets, while teammate Bryan Grotte produced a total of 46. Adam Carstensen, Colby Grotte and Nick Segar followed in the scoring column with 45s.

Levi Buhmann, Camren Saxton and Dustyn Vandever generated marks of 44 for Fairmont Area during the shoot.

Justin Schwieger broke 43 targets during the competition, while teammates Jedidiah Fowler, James Joyner, Matthew Kotewa and Will Schellpeper supplied solid scores of 42 each.

Shawn Busche, Austin Clabaugh, Anthony Holland and Tucker Mosloski chipped in totals of 41, while teammates Tanner Rosch and Noah Wedel delivered a pair of 40s.
