It's not too late to return your Truman Days garage sales questionnaire. So far, Kathy and Barb have received questionnaires from about half of the total 62 sales held.
Each sale participant was sent a questionnaire along with a self-addressed stamped envelope. All opinions are valued.
The information that is sent back will help to determine dates and times for next year. Even if you don't have a lot of comments to write about, send back the questionnaire with your feelings about this year's and next year's sales.
A summary of the questionnaire findings will appear in the Truman Tribune as soon as more surveys.
Please send them in as soon as you can. If you lost your copy, please call Barb at (507) 776-7601 or Kathy at (507)776-7091.
Truman City Council will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday. Everyone is welcome to attend any of the City Council meetings.
Expect delays on Highway 15 after Labor Day. Motorists can expect delays from the north county line about two miles north of Truman through Truman and to the north end of Fairmont.
Motorists will need to drive with caution through the work zone and watch for flaggers, traffic control and equipment. This much needed project should be completed by mid-October.
Recycling day is this coming Wednesday. Carts need to be curbside by 7 a.m. with the wheels of the cart facing your house. It's great to see now many earth-friendly residents are making use of this bi-monthly collection.
