ST. PAUL - Service for Marlon R. Breitbarth, 78, of St. Paul, formerly of the Truman area, was held Thursday in White Bear Lake. Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Breitbarth died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014.

Marlon R. Breitbarth was born Oct. 15, 1935, in rural Truman, son of Emil and Louise (Brummond) Breitbarth. He served honorably in the U.S. Army for two years.

Survivors include: his wife, Nadine; daughters, Marci MacDonald, Lenore Coleman, Marion Dotson, and Christine Johnson; son, Anthony Breitbarth; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Violet Ellingsberg of Madelia and Valeen Altenburg of Lewisville.
