To the Editor:
If Fairmont wants to improve water quality, it will have to start with everyone owning lakeshore property and all residents who have storm water sewers that drain near their property.
Any nutritional organic product and fertilizers of any type affect the lakes. That is what the algae that thrives in your lakes eats.
Since Fairmont has decided to develop in such an aquatic area, it also needs to adopt a hard line, environmentally healthy approach to caring for its lakes.
