BLUE EARTH - Funeral services for Wayne M. Eiselt, 87, of Blue Earth will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth.

Wayne died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Blue Earth and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.

Wayne was born June 26, 1926, in Blue Earth, the son of Frank and Nora (Schow) Eiselt. He was raised and educated in Blue Earth where he was a 1944 graduate of Blue Earth High School. He married Marianna Nichols on Sept. 24, 1950, in Winnebago, Minn. Wayne worked for over 20 years in the grocery business in Blue Earth before joining the staff at First National Bank as the maintenance manager and also pursuing self-employment as a construction handyman. He also served for a time as the Building Inspector for the City of Blue Earth. Wayne was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he was very active, serving in various capacities including Congregation President. Wayne was a long-time member of Riverside Country Club. He enjoyed a variety of other interests including woodworking, golf, bowling and tennis.

Wayne is survived by his son, Robert (Debra) Eiselt of Stillwater; his daughter, Mary (Jeffrey) Owen of Rochester; his son, Thomas (Julie) Eiselt of Charlotte, N.C.; nine grandchildren, John (Jill) Eiselt, Scott (Jessica) Eiselt, Jennifer (Michael) Fischer, Kristine (Andrew) Owen-Katona, Michael Owen (fiance Theora Wright), Rebecca Owen, Jack Eiselt, Joseph Eiselt, and Katharine Eiselt; three great-grandchildren, Logan Eiselt, Bennett Eiselt, and Eden Eiselt.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Marianna in 2010.
