MINNEAPOLIS - Services for Larissa M. Frolik, 24, of Minneapolis, formerly of Fairmont, will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 15, at Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fairmont.
Larissa passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at her home in Minneapolis. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Larissa Mae Frolik was born July 16, 1988, in Fairmont, Minn., the daughter of Steve Frolik and Kathryn (Schmidt) Frolik. She grew up in Fairmont and graduated from high school in 2007. After high school, she went on to Rochester Community Technical College where she played soccer. She was currently enrolled at Inver Hills Community College going for her criminal justice degree and working at Netflix. Larissa loved to play soccer and enjoyed all sports in general. She supported her Minnesota sports teams and enjoyed spending time with her family and her nephews. She loved kids and opened her heart to help anyone in need.
Those who will cherish her memory include her mother, Kathy Frolik and special friend, Rick Weber, of Sherburn; father, Steve Frolik and his wife, Brenda, of Sherburn; brother, Brock Frolik of Wadena, Minn.; sister, Sam Frolik of St. Cloud, Minn.; stepbrother, Houston Schubert of Sherburn; stepsister, Lindsey Pytleski and her husband, Quinton, of Welcome; nephews, Liam and Kael Pytleski, Bradyn Schubert; grandparents, Jerry and Barb Schmidt of Fairmont; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Larissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, LeRoy and Dorothy Frolik; uncles, Michael Schmidt, Bernie Frolik and Kenneth Crotteau; and aunt, Linda Schmidt.
