JORDAN - Fairmont senior standout Josh Baldus carded a two-day total of 76-79-155 to capture fifth place overall at the Jordan Invitational golf tournament on Saturday.
Baldus topped the Cardinals' team score of 687 at the Ridges @ Sand Creek golf course in Jordan.
Unfortunately, final team results were not available from the event as of 10 p.m. Sunday.
Carter Welchlin penciled in back-to-back rounds of 84 for a two-day score of 168 to finish second on Fairmont's charts.
Joe Nordquist netted an 87-89-176 for the Cardinals, while teammate Cole Huinker completed the counting marks by generating back-to-back rounds of 95 for a total of 190.
Sam Havnen chipped in a 93-110-203 for the red-and-white lineup, while Marcus Wiebe fired a 106-107-213.
Marshall's Matt Bennett won the Jordan Invite's individual championship by shooting a 72-76-148.
Fairmont plays host to New Ulm and St. James at 4:15 p.m. today at Interlaken Golf Course in Fairmont.
