FAIRMONT - Services for Floydeane G. Wagner, 83, of Fairmont, Minn., will be held at a later date.

Floydeane passed away Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. The Lakeview Funeral Home of Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Floydeane Gertrude Camp was born on Oct. 12, 1929, on the family farm near Sargent Bluff, Iowa, the daughter of Floyd and Anna (Marthwig) Camp. She attended school in Sargent Bluff and graduated from Sargent Bluff High School.

On Dec. 21, 1949, Floydeane was united in marriage to Toliver A. Sumner. The couple moved to Sioux City, Iowa, where Floydeane worked for the city of Sioux City in the Urban Renewal and Park and Recreation Department. She also worked as a concession manager in the drive-in Theater in Sioux City and also helped in the kitchen of the Sioux City School District during nights making sure the baked goods were ready the next day for the students. On Aug. 30, 1983, Floydeane was united in marriage to Neal D. Wagner. Together, the couple resided in Sioux City, Iowa, until Oct. 1999, when they moved to Fairmont, Minn., to be closer to family. In her spare time, Floydeane enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and baker and shared her many baking secrets with family and friends. Later in her life, Floydeane enjoyed quiet time spent reading and watching her "Western" reruns on TV. She had a warm spot in her heart for her dog, Pita and loved working in her garden. She will be greatly missed by those that loved her and called her friend. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Beth Wiederien and her husband Jim of Carroll, Iowa, Tadeane "Tad" Brooks and her husband Mark of Sioux Falls, S.D., Jack Sumner and his wife Maureen of Fairmont, Minn., and Roxann Dafoe and her husband Duane of Fairmont, Minn.; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Camp; a brother, Norman Camp; as well as many nieces, nephew, extended family and friends.

Floydeane was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Anna Camp; husband, Neal Wagner; son, Gene; grandson, Gabriel Trudell; as well as her siblings.
