Fairmont Area Kinship thanks the community and everyone involved in making the fifth annual "Gala Gowns Go Green" sale a success.
Kinship is a mentoring program for youth ages 5-15. The recent sale of prom, wedding and other gently-used formal women's attire was held Feb. 9-10 (and storm dates Feb 15-16) and raised $1,500 for Kinship. Thrivent Financial Fairmont Branch supplied matching funds.
A big thank you to Five Lakes Centre for hosting the event, the drop sites, the talented and hard-working committee and everyone who donated or consigned items.
Thank you for your support. Watch for our Industrial/Commercial Rummage Sale the first weekend in May.
