TRIMONT - Celebration of life services for Dorothy M. Bolte, 99, of Trimont, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ormsby, Minn., with Pastor Brian Thorson officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lutheran Cemetery in rural Trimont, Minn.
Dorothy was called to her eternal rest on Monday afternoon, Jan. 28, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont, Minn. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday at Kramer Family Funeral Home, Trimont, and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church.

Dorothy Marie Kuehl was born Aug. 11, 1913, to Reinhold and Augusta (Flohrs) Kuehl in Galena Township, Martin County, Minn. She was received into the kingdom of God through Holy Baptism on Sept. 7, 1913, and she reaffirmed her faith at her confirmation on April 10, 1927, both at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Galena Township, rural Ormsby. Dorothy attended rural country school in District #126 in Galena Township, then attended Ormsby school, and then Fairmont school. On May 11, 1935, Dorothy was united in marriage to William "Bill" Bolte at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Galena Township, rural Ormsby, Minn. After their marriage, the couple farmed in Galena Township until 1965, when they moved into Trimont. Bill died Jan. 31, 1998. She continued living in Trimont until becoming a resident of Ingleside Assisted Living in Fairmont in June of 2011.
Dorothy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and its ladies aid. She served as church organist for 65 years and was a Sunday School teacher, taught Vacation Bible School and participated in its weekly class. Dorothy was a member of LWML and held offices in the Truman Circuit and was president from 1986-1989. She greatly enjoyed her music, reading, stitching and quilting.
She will be greatly missed by her two children, son, Jerry (Jo) Bolte of Long Lake, Minn., and daughter, Kay Groth of Fairmont, Minn.; five grandchildren, Kevin Groth, Matt Bolte, David Bolte, Mia Bolte and Chad Bolte; seven great-grandchildren, Griffin Bolte, Laine Bolte, Maddie Groth, Carly Groth, Jack Groth, Will Groth and Charlie Bolte; sister-in-law, Bernita Kuehl of St. James, Minn.; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Bill" Bolte; son, Mike Bolte; grandson, Todd Groth; great-granddaughter, Sydney Groth; son-in-law, Chuck Groth; three brothers; four sisters; and other relatives.
