To the Editor:
A recent front-page article in the Sentinel gave recognition to Dr. Ole Braaten and his many-year career here in Fairmont. It lauded his contribution to the area as a family practitioner.
He has been our family doctor for the past 20 years and we will miss him immensely.
We will also equally miss his staff that was critical in establishing a very personal and comfortable environment in his clinic. They are Stacy Pytleski his "No. 1 nurse"; Julie Steuber, known as "Dr. Mom," who took care of the billing and business part of the clinic; and Cindy Tonne, the clinic lab tech, who never missed my vein when she drew blood.
The girls created more than just a staff at the Braaten clinic; they endorsed an atmosphere of care, empathy, love and family that can never be replaced.
We wish the best to all of them as they continue their separate endeavors. We loved them all.
