FAIRMONT - Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanette M. Hady, 81, of Fairmont, Minn., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 26, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Heron Lake, Minn.
Jeanette passed away Sunday morning, October 21, 2012, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 25, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and will continue one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Jeanette Mary (Haberman) Hady was born on February 26, 1931, in Heron Lake, Minn., the daughter of Frank and Mary (Ramert) Haberman. She attended the Sacred Heart Catholic School through the 8th grade and then graduated from Heron Lake High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to James Hady on May 21, 1949, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They made their home in Heron Lake and raised 11 children. In 2004, they moved to Fairmont and James passed away on November 27, 2005.
Jeanette belonged to the CCW at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Heron Lake and then St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. She also belonged to Birthday Club in Heron Lake.
Those that will cherish her memory include 10 children, Brad Hady and his wife, Eileen, of Fairmont, David Hady of Hayward, Calif., Timothy Hady and his wife, Porry, of Fallbrook, Calif., Karen Horkey and her husband, Tom, of Fairmont, Bruce Hady of Fairmont, Pattie Larson and her husband, Bruce, of Fairmont, Christopher Hady and his wife, Song, of Plant City, Fla., Jill Hady and her fianc, Darwin Fischer, of New Ulm, Carolyn Schumacher and her husband, Robert, of Edina, Minn., Thomas Hady and fiance, Elizabeth Cholick, of Lakefield; 26 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, James, Jeanette was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Hady; grandson, Nolan Larson; two brothers, Herbert and Francis Haberman; sisters, Verena Jentges and her husband, Henry, Mary Jo Schooley and her husband, Leonz; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeanne and Bernard Schommer and Judy and Bill Haberman.
