To the Editor:
The privilege of voting will again be exercised by many on Nov. 6. Perhaps more than ever, much is at stake in this election. Our nation is morally and fundamentally bankrupt.
Before ballots are cast, it is important to know where the candidates stand on vital issues. The purpose of this letter is to speak up for the unborn children.
We have had three and one-half years of President Obama's leadership and know where he stands. He supports the anti-life agenda; his judicial nominations and cabinet appointments are pro-abortion; he expects taxpayers to fund abortions and abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood. Obamacare makes sure that abortion is included in "essential benefits." Conscience protection is no longer provided for those health care workers who refuse to participate in abortions. He allows embryo destruction research.
Republican candidate Mitt Romney supports banning taxpayer funding of abortions; wants Roe vs. Wade to be overturned; supports repeal of Obamacare; pledges to reinstate Mexico City policy on day one.
Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan has a 100 percent pro-life voting record.
We need to speak up for the unborn. Please do so on Nov. 6
