To the Editor:
Hi, my name is Chloe and I am a fifth-grader at Fairmont Elementary School. When my mom first told me about the referendum, I was about to cry. So that is what inspired me to write this letter.
I like to go to school but I also think that we need to have extracurricular activities. I think we need to vote yes because that can lead up to people's jobs someday.
I play the trumpet in band and if band gets cut I am going to be really sad.
I also play sports like softball, basketball, and sometimes I will do camps.
I really like gym and music. I am in choir too.
I think kids like me need to learn but also have fun. So that is why I think we need to vote yes. So will you vote yes for us?
