To the Editor:
Everyone needs to become an informed voter. In our great country, we have the privilege, right and duty to vote. With this comes the duty to be educated and informed of the issues and candidates.
At 7 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Acres in Fairmont, there will be a town hall meeting to become an informed voter. Republican congressional candidate Allen Quist will address the issues that should be important to us, such as our nation's fiscal crisis; Obamacare and how it will affect us and our health care system; and many other issues. Allen will lay out his plan to balance the federal budget and why replacing Obamacare with free market health care is essential not only to health care but also to the fiscal well-being of our country. Obamacare has the potential to raise our taxes $4.5 trillion over the next 10 years.
Allen will welcome questions and suggestions from the audience. This is a unique opportunity to listen and participate in our country's future.
Remember to come to Heritage Acres on Lake Avenue in Fairmont this Thursday at 7 p.m. for the town hall meeting, and to vote in the primary Aug. 14.
