YORK, Neb. - Tyler Owen Grotz of York, Neb., passed away July 3, 2012, at the family farm from a farm related accident. He was 21 years old.
Tyler was born in Henderson, Neb., on January 28, 1991, the second child of Duane and Brenda (Forsberg) Grotz.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Duane and Brenda; one brother, Darren and sister-in-law Cara; and two sisters, Brianna and Tonya, all of York; grandparents, Albert and Doris Grotz of York and Bernice (Pete) Kracht of Rock Rapids, Iowa; aunts and uncles: Lorna (Garland) Snow of Kearney, Neb., Carol (Mike) Austin of Draper, Utah, Mary (Chris) Craven of Rochester, Minn., Loren (Karen) Forsberg of Dunnell, Minn.; several cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Melvin Forsberg, and one aunt, Nileta Forsberg.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the York City Auditorium in York, Neb. Interment will be in York's Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m., Saturday prior to the services at the auditorium.
Memorials, which will be designated later, may be directed to the family at Cornerstone Bank, York, Neb.
