ST. JAMES - Services for Gerald G. Heller, 84, of rural St. James will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, Ormsby. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Odin, with full military honors by Donald V. Larson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9607, Butterfield.
Heller died Sunday afternoon, July 1, 2012, at Minneapolis Veterans Administration Health Care System, Minneapolis. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Kramer Family Funeral Home, Trimont, and one hour prior to services at the church.
Gerald George Heller was born March 18, 1928, in rural Bemer, Neb., son of George and Eunice (Schultz) Heller. He served in the U.S. Army Jan. 23, 1951-Dec. 31, 1952.
Survivors include: sons, Gerry Heller of rural St James. Luane Heller of rural Butterfield and Scott Heller of Sherburn; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Kirkland of Norfold, Neb., and Margaret Kind of Wisner, Neb.
