FAIRMONT - Bette Marie Klopp Robinson, 85, passed away Thursday, June 14, following a brief illness, in Sacramento.
She was born March 4, 1927, in Fairmont, Minn., to Albert and Mary Wolter. Bette was the youngest of nine children and raised on the family farm outside Fairmont. After the war, she married Robert E. Klopp, and moved to California, settling in Sacramento.
Near the time of her retirement, she met the love of her life, Gene Robinson. They married and have spent the last 29 years enjoying life to the fullest. Their home was always open to family and friends.
She was loved by all that knew her and will be dearly missed by all.
Bette is survived by her husband, Gene Robinson; daughters, Terry Pettitt of Salinas, Calif., Christianne Wheeler of Kaufman, Texas; stepchildren, David Robinson, Vicki Lukhaup, Dianna Weiss; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for family and friends will held at a later date in California.
