To the Editor:
Congressman Tim Walz cares about veterans. Although my husband, Staff Sgt. Robert A. Borowski was the recipient of two Purple Hearts, he was not aware he had earned a Bronze Star. This award was given to World War II veterans who had earned the Combat Infantry Badge.
I contacted Walz's office and, this past Friday, I received Robert's Bronze Star. He would be so proud. Because he cares, Walz will receive my vote in November.
