To the Editor:
We came home from the Knights of Columbus Silent & Live Auction with more than an armful of blessings. We have planted trees, used items, redeemed gift certificates and shared things that we purchased that night. The biggest blessing of all is that through the hard work of the KCs the proceeds will be used to help ARC, Martin County Mentoring and Kinship. Thus the blessings are multiplied by improving the lives of our youth and folks facing challenges in our community.
It's the miracle of "volunteerism" that is synonymous with the Knights of Columbus.
Members of the KCs give generously of their time, talent and treasurers. Several members are Kinship mentors who have established relationships with boys that are providing opportunities for healthy social, personal, spiritual and physical development. In addition, the KCs are continuously having benefits to support a multitude of organizations and worthy causes in our community.
Please join us in thanking any KC member you see and join with them in any future efforts to help our neighbors.
